Goldie's Athleticizm exhibition is now open at The Cumberland in London til 12th August.

As part of a special collaboration with Adidas celebrating London 2012, Goldie's painted 12 of Britain's Olympic hopefuls, bringing the worlds of street art and sport together in a unique and new way.

Curated by Eddie Lock, the show will feature paintings of athletes such as Olympic cycling gold medallist Victoria Pendleton, 2009 World Heptathlon Champion Jessica Ennis MBE and 2010 FINA diving World Champion Tom Daley.

Athleticizm will mark a departure from the traditional portrayal of national sporting stars, depicting 'the rawness of their talent' as Goldie says and 'in a light in which they are rarely seen'.
